First OO gauge conversion.
I have made my first conversion. It was one of the old Athearn tank car kits. I merely spread the axels in a pair of trucks that were made by someone else at one point from OO side frames (!) and a sheet metal bolster. In addition, I have started work on a 4-4-? that should be rather interesting.

A first look: My Kitbashed Engines
I was, and probably shall remain, an HO scale modeler. I have also begun modeling in OO scale, an obscure scale from the 1930's, and shall be posting my work, and occasionally how I made them, here.
To begin with, my first 2 Kitbashed, HO scale engines:
1. Cherokee Valley No. 34, a Belpaire boilered 2-8-0 patterned roughly after a PRR H-9
2. An unnumbered 4-4-0, for which I got the idea from a trim, rather British looking D&LW 4-4-2
